Peru - Part IWhen we came into Peru, the people at the border were very friendly and we were invited for dinner. On our first day in Peru - in Jaen - we were robbed and could not go on to our destination, because of violent problems nearby. It is a pity that such a wonderful country, with a lot of friendly people and huge resources has to deal with so many bad appearances. After the negative impressions in the beginning we had a lot of positive experiences thereafter. Visiting cultural and natural sites in Northern Peru kept us very busy and gave us a lot of unforgettable memories! Peru - Part IIAfter the not so succesful beginning, we came into the area, where one highlight follows the other. In the heart of the Inka Imperium with Cuzco and Machu Picchu we were overwhelmed with history. The natural part with the Peninsula of Paracas and the Condors at the Colca Canyon filled up the positive Impression. What at country of wonders! Enjoy the pictures.
